POLICE have issued a warning to residents over reports of counterfeit £20 notes being circulated around Hindley.
Officers issued the alert via social media to make people aware of the issue.
In a statement today, GMP Hindley said: "PCSOs will be out in Hindley and Hindley Green tonight.
"For your awareness police have received info regarding fake £20 notes being circulated in the local areas."
