A DRIVER who got behind the wheel of a car while he was banned and caused damage to a number of vehicles has been jailed.
Lee Wallbank, of Shackerley Road, Tyldesley, was driving a Seat Leon on Astley Street around 4am on November 6 while he was disqualified.
Dashcam footage from Greater Manchester Police captured the aftermath of a crash in which a number of cars were damaged.
Wallbank, 27, was found guilty of driving without due car and attention and not having any car insurance.
He also refused to give a blood sample to officers.
The defendant was sent to prison for 26 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim services surcharge fee when he appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Wallbank has also been banned from driving for three years.
