A LEIGH mum says she feels "unsafe" after reporting 15 instances of burglary from her garden shed in a month.

A family photograph, power tools, bike frames, hose pipes, and tins of paint are among the items that have gone missing from the Rugby Road shed.

The resident has invested in home security including a night vision camera and motion sensors in an attempt to catch criminals in the act.

The woman, who has asked to remain anonymous, says thefts have been happening from gardens on her road in the last year but her shed has been targeted much more frequently recently.

She said: "Every time the garden is in a mess in the morning I know a theft has taken place the night before.

"I just want whoever is doing this to be found so I can feel safe again in my own home."
