A MAN who was arrested yesterday, Saturday, on Bradshawgate has been charged with four offences.

Paul Fletcher, aged 28, of no fixed address, has today been charged with burglary, attempted burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

Fletcher has been remanded in custody to appear at court tomorrow, Monday.

Plain clothes officers and uniformed officers from the Wigan and Leigh District Tasking Team arrested the 28-year-old male on Saturday.

He was already wanted for two burglary offences and a theft from motor vehicle.

On arrest, the male was also found to be in possession of two knives.

He also had an Epson EB-X03 Projector, still in its carry case with all the leads and manuals.

Police suspect the item may have been stolen so are appealing for any information regarding its rightful owner.

Anyone who may be able to assist can contact the police via the GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page or by ringing 101 and quoting incident 0862 of August 4 2018.

The male has links to both the Atherton and Leigh areas, so the property could be from anywhere in the area.
