A MAN who said he had been "ran over" yesterday morning, Wednesday, has been found "safe and well".
A police helicopter was sent to Green Lane in Leigh at around 6.50am to join patrols to track the man who made a call stating that he was hurt after being involved in a collision.
Paramedics were also reported to have been at the scene.
The search was handed over to Cheshire Police from Greater Manchester Police at around noon after he was believed to be in Culcheth in Warrington.
Officers confirmed he was found in Culcheth "safe and well" at around 5.30pm with minor injuries and are investigating the details about the collision.
