A DRINK driver who was more than three times over limit has been banned.
Andrew Hilton, of Sumner Street, Atherton, had 108 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped by police on Gloucester Street in the town on September 2. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 34-year-old has been disqualified from driving for 28 months which may be reduced by 28 weeks if he completes a course.
He has been ordered to pay a victim services surcharge of £85 and court fees of £85.
Hilton, who appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, must also follow the requirements of a three-month curfew and complete an alcohol treatment requirement.
