TRAVELLERS who set up camp on Tyldesley Common have been handed an eviction notice.
Residents reported seeing caravans parked up in the area yesterday (Thursday).
When asked about the issue by the Journal, a spokeswoman from Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council said: "We served notice on them this morning to move on."
