PLANS have been submitted to build 28 homes on the site of an old council building.
An application has been sent to Wigan Council to build the homes on Hesketh Meadow Lane in Lowton following the demolition of the building which housed the local authority's Children and Young People’s Services department.
A neighbourhood consultation is in place until October 26 and a decision has been listed to be made on December 31.
