A DRINK driver has been banned after being nearly more than twice over limit.
Danielle Dennis, of Wilsford Close, Golborne, registered a reading of 154 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood when she was breathalysed on Charles Street on October 15, 2017. The legal limit is 80.
As well as being over the limit, the 28-year-old was found guilty of driving a BMW 320 without due care and attention.
The 28-year-old has been disqualified for 19 months which may be reduced by 134 days if she completes a course.
She has also been ordered to pay court costs of £850, fined £230 and handed a victim services surcharge bill of £30.
Dennis was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Friday.
