DOG walkers are being urged to be vigilant after a dog died following an alleged attack by another one.
The incident happened at Withington Common on Manchester Road on Thursday, October 4 at around 6.45pm when both dogs had been let off their leads by their owners.
It was reported that a grey Staffordshire Bull Terrier attacked a Jack Russell Terrier which died as a result of its injuries.
Police want to speak to the owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier about the incident. He is described as white, aged between 40 to 50, of a medium build with a shaven or bald head.
