THREE neighbours are celebrating after scooping £1,000 for each ticket they have for the daily prize on the People's Postcode Lottery.
The lucky Mitchell Street residents in Golborne were well and truly blown away to wake up to the news that their postcode, WA3 3PW, won them the Daily Prize on Monday, October 15.
Congratulating the winners, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “I don’t think there’s any better way to kick-start your week than with a brilliant cash boost.
"Well done to everyone in Golborne who picked up a prize today. Play with your postcode and we could be visiting you next.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £350 million to date for 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A number of local causes have benefitted from the money raised, and the next opportunity to apply for funding will be in January.
