A DRINK driver who was more than two times over the limit has been banned.

Mark Oliver, of Devonshire Road, Atherton, had 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was breathalysed on Leigh Road in Leigh on October 22. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

The 42-year-old has been disqualified for 23 months which could be reduced by 23 weeks if he completes a course.

He has also ordered to complete 40 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim services surcharge fee of £85 and court costs of £85.

Oliver was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court yesterday, Wednesday.
