DANCERS from an Atherton academy were jumping for joy after achieving success in a regional competition.
SDZ Dance Academy on Bullough Street entered five groups in the Unify Dance UK event in Manchester.
In the under 10s intermediate category, the academy's Toxic Babes triumphed with their "Freak" dance routine.
The "Funky Femmes" and the "Re-Born" teams finished in runners-up with their routines in the adults sections.
The Hipnotix team, who performed in the under 16 advanced category also placed in second place.
Their new team, the Mini Mojos enjoyed a successful debut and was placed fourth in the under 8s beginners category.
Lacey Jade Tran achieved a third place in the individual under 10s intermediate and Jessica Worthington finished fourth in the under 10s beginners section.
Jasmin Sawyer was also placed in the under 12s category.
SDZ Dance Academy founder Alison Jones said: "I'm so happy with everyone especially the little ones (the Mini Mojos) who performed for the very first time.
"It's quite daunting and I hope they have got the taste for it now and want to compete more and more."
