A DRINK driver who was more than twice over the limit has been banned.
Craig Greenhalgh, of Kentmere Drive, Astley registered a reading of 76 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was breathalysed on Princes Avenue in Tyldesley on November 11. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 31-year-old has been disqualified from driving for 18 months which may be reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course.
He has been fined £220, ordered to pay a victim services surcharge fee of £30 and court costs of £85.
