Billy Livesley
A MAN has been charged with murder after a 21-year-old died following an assault last Friday evening.
Peter Connor, 31, of Dorothy Walk, Abram, will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Friday, after Billy Livesley was fatally assaulted in Abram.
The charges are in relation to an incident outside a house on Bickershaw Lane where Billy, from Platt Bridge, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
He died on Saturday evening and a Home Office post mortem examination confirmed that the cause of death was a "significant head injury".
