Car stopped in 100mph police chase
A CAR was stopped on the East Lancs Road in Leigh after a high-speed police pursuit.
The vehicle was seen by officers travelling at speeds of up to 105 miles-per-hour during the chase.
The car was followed by police between Greyhound Island and Atherleigh Way on Saturday shortly before 4.50pm.
Police say a suspect will appear in court in relation to the matter.
