A PROLIFIC burglar who assaulted two police officers has been jailed for two years.
Neil Shaw, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of assaulting two police officers in Leigh, committing 13 burglaries- with a number of them on town businesses- and one count of attempted burglary.
He was also convicted of an attempted theft and abstracting electricity from a property.
The 33-year-old was sentenced at Bolton Crown Court last Friday.
