A WEAVER Vale MP visited a Runcorn school to get a taste of their career guidance work.
Mike Amesbury headed to Sandymoor School in Wharford Lane to and discuss careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG).
Mike was pleased with the visit and said: “Delivering quality careers advice to young people is essential in helping them make plans and have an idea of the routes open to them, whether it’s apprenticeships and training, employment or further education.”
Principal Sally Jones said: “I am extremely proud of becoming one of Liverpool and City region’s Careers Hub Schools; it shows that the hard work and commitment that has gone into making our careers and CEIAG programme worthwhile.”
