AN Aladdin pantomime has proved to be a hit.
St Joseph's Players' Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp was shown on dates from January 23 to February 2.
And there was a good turnout at St Joseph's Hall over the two-week period.
The theatre group is holding auditions at the Chapel Street venue on Sunday at 1pm for its autumn productions which will take place from September 10 to 14 and October 15 to 19
Plays that are being considered are Stepping Out by Richard Harris, Woman in White adapted by Constance Cox and Noel Coward's duo of Fallen Angels and Private Lives
Anyone interested must be aged over 18 to reflect the characters' ages.

Rehearsals for the shows will be on Monday and Thursday evenings.
