A MAN from Leigh who stole more than £600 of items from Tesco in Warrington has been jailed.
Stefan Bradbury, 36, was arrested on Friday for two trolley push outs at Tesco Extra on Winwick Road, Warrington.
He was arrested for theft and possession of an offensive weapon after he allegedly tried to hide a screwdriver under a table as officers arrived.
Appearing in Warrington Magistrates' Court yesterday, Saturday, he was jailed for 25 weeks.
He was also ordered to pay compensation.
