A MAN has been charged with making threats to kill after armed police were called to a house.
Austen Dubbledam, of Prescott Street, Golborne has been charged with making threats to kill, two counts of criminal damage and possession of cannabis.
The 38-year-old has been remanded to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today, Monday.
Police were called to a house on Prescott Street around 1.50pm on Saturday after a man was accused of making threats.
Emergency services and firearms officers were sent to the scene.
A woman and a child left the house safely and no-one was injured.
