The incident happened at Braithwaite Road Park in Leigh yesterday
SEVERAL youths have been accused of trying to start fires at a park yesterday, Monday.
Police were called to Braithwaite Road Park in Leigh after residents said youths were attempting to cause blazes at the back of the park.
They reportedly ran off when a police patrol arrived on the scene.
A police spokesman said they "give the area extra attention".
