A MAN has admitted to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon after a man was stabbed.
Kurt Grimshaw, of Old Laurel Gardens, Hindley pleaded guilty to the two charges in relation to the stabbing of a 31-year-old man on January 21 on Market Street in Atherton at around 4.15am.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was given treatment for an arm wound following the incident.
The 31-year-old defendant appeared at Bolton Crown Court on Monday and has been remanded in custody until the sentencing date of March 18.
