A MAN who stole from a supermarket and caused damage to a police vehicle has been handed a curfew.
Dean Walton, of Telford Crescent, Westleigh admitted taking items from Asda to the value of £124.80 on February 14.
The 33-year-old also caused damage worth £40 to a police vehicle on the same day.
He has been given a four-month curfew, ordered to pay a victim services surcharge fee of £85, court costs of £85 and a compensation fee of £40.
Walton was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
