A DRINK driver who was more than three times over the limit has been banned.
Lee Hitchen, of Radnor Close, Hindley Green had 133 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was breathalysed on the road of his given address on January 31.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 39-year-old has been disqualified from driving for one year which may be reduced by 91 days if he completes a course.
He has been ordered to pay a victim services surcharge fee of £85, court costs of £85 and complete an alcohol rehabilitation course.
Hitchen was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
