TWO youths have been accused of stealing a cleaver knife from a supermarket.
Police say one of the youths suspected of taking the blade from a Tesco store in Hindley was detained in Hindley Green after allegedly causing anti-social behaviour.
When the boy was searched the knife was not found though.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
In another incident a 32-year-old man allegedly rammed the car he was driving into a police vehicle.
After being tasered, he was arrested on Hurst Street in Leigh on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for a police officer, aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent and driving while disqualified.
Ian Kitt, 35, of Keats Close, Atherton has also been charged with assault after being arrested on Friday morning.
