TV gardening experts Adam Frost and David Domoney will be handing out green-fingered tips at Bents Garden and Home this weekend.

The pair will be at the Glazebury centre on Saturday and Sunday for a number of events as part of Bents’ Get Gardening Weekend.

Adam will be at the Warrington Road centre on Saturday including a Q and A session for one hour 10am, planted container fun from 11.30am to 12.30pm and top gardening tips from 2pm to 3pm.

The BBC Gardeners’ World presenter will introduce competitive fun during his planted container workshop when he will invite audience members to compete for the chance to have lunch with Adam in the Fresh Approach Restaurant.

Bents customers on Sunday will have the opportunity to meet This Morning’s resident gardener, David Domoney at the centre from 10am to 4pm.

He will be leading a session called Top Tips for Organic Gardening from 10am to 11am, presenting a Houseplants Workshop between 11.30am to 12.30pm and talking about the value of sensory gardening from 2pm to 3pm.

David will also be hosting a winner’s lunch with five tickets available via Bents' Facebook competition, which can be entered online before 5pm on Wednesday.

The Get Gardening Weekend will feature a host of early season offers and the centre’s be inspired privilege club members will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win two VIP tickets to this year’s Southport Flower Show.

This will include entrance to the show and an overnight stay in the four star Bliss Hotel in Southport.

Children can get involved in the fun with free flower pot painting activities, a special spring themed treasure hunt and Bents’ indoor beach and outdoor play area.

Bents’ team of horticultural experts will be on hand throughout the weekend to share their knowledge of plants and suggest unique garden design solutions.
