SLIMMING World members have donated items to raise funds for a cancer charity.
Lowton Travelodge and Golborne Heath Street members collected clothes, shoes, bags, homeware items and accessories in aid of Cancer Research UK.
They collected 300 bags of clothes adding up to a value of around £7,500 for the organisation’s Big Golden Slimming World Clothes Throw.
This year marks Slimming World’s 50th birthday, and as part of the celebrations, one Lowton member found a special golden bag, winning a personal styling experience and shopping trip to London.
Members will also be taking place in a Cancer Research Race for Life event at Pennington Flash Country Park on June 2.
