LEIGH Neighbourhood Police will be set up at different locations in a "mobile station life van" this week.
It is part of a community engagement week where officers will be inviting residents to approach them and air concerns they have about Leigh.
Police will also host a drop-in session at community group Leigh Neighbours's base on Walmesley Road tomorrow, Tuesday from 1pm to 4pm.
Another session will be held at the same base and time on Thursday as well.
Chair of Leigh Neighbours Susan Gredecki said: "Leigh Neighbours welcomes the opportunity to support the police and other agencies in their efforts to build community confidence, and we urge local residents to drop-in to these sessions to discuss any issues around crime and anti-social behaviour that they may be experiencing.
"Over the past few years, we've worked on several initiatives with GMP because we recognise that community safety is one of the concerns local people told us about, and it's one of the priorities in our Community Plan which we hope to help address."
The engagement week is a project that has been organised in partnership with Wigan Council and other agencies.
