Shaun Sutherland appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Friday
A MAN has been handed a community order after assaulting a woman.
Shaun Sutherland, of Devon Road, Tyldesley pleaded guilty to the assault of a woman in Wigan on September 4.
The 31-year-old also admitted to causing £1,385 worth of damage to a car on the same day.
He has been ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work and complete a four-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Sutherland must pay £1,385 for the damage caused to the car as well as a victim services surcharge fee of £85 and court costs of £85.
The defendant was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Friday.
