FANCY a treat after the Easter break?

Well you could be in luck because we have teamed up with Applewood Farm in Tyldesley to offer readers the chance to win a Sunday lunch for a family of four.

It gets better because the winner can return to the Astley Park Way pub restaurant with their family for another free carvery feast once a month – for a year.

The carvery at Applewood Farm, run by the Greene King chain Farmhouse Inns, includes roast beef, pork, gammon or turkey with all the trimmings. A vegetarian alternative is also available.

On the website it says: "Our approach to food at Farmhouse Inns is simple, delicious and generous.

"We focus on our succulent range of carvery meats and seasonal vegetable accompaniments so your plate is always pleasing, whether you decide to add our signature flavoured roast potatoes or fluffy Yorkshire puddings.

"As a result, our carvery deck has something for all appetites. And we’re certain our roast dinners will not disappoint."

HOW TO ENTER

The prize entitles the winner to a free Sunday carvery lunch for a family of up to four every month for a year and does not include drinks or additional items from the menu.

To enter simply tell us in eight words or less what makes the ultimate Sunday roast for you.

Send your answers along with your name, address and phone number before noon on Monday, April 22, after which a winner will be selected at random.
