CORONATION Street star Alan Halsall was at Spinning Gate Shopping Centre in Leigh on Saturday for the official opening a new travel agency.
The actor, who has played the role of Tyrone Dobbs for 21 years, cut the ribbon for the opening of Jetz Travel along with owners Nick and Donna Brooks.
Fans and shoppers greeted the Corrie favourite and were given an opportunity to have photos and selfies taken with him.
Donna Brooks said: “Jetz Travel is delighted that Alan officially opened our brand new travel agency.
"It was great to meet him and all our new customers.”
The store is located near the car park entrance of the centre.

Spinning Gate Shopping Centre manager, Karen Cox, added: "It was great to meet Alan who officially opened Jetz Travel.”
Jetz Travel, when selling travel arrangements, is a trading name of The Midcounties Co-operative Ltd.
