CHILDREN and their families at Broomfield Junior School enjoyed the last day of term with a PTA sponsored fun run.
Inflatables, games, snow and water made for a fun afternoon at the Appleton primary school and even Wolfie made a special appearance and completed two laps of the course in front of a delighted audience.
The money raised from the event will go towards new iPads and Chrome Books, plus upgrades to the school's WiFi system.
Rachel Morris Brown, head teacher, said: "With the ever increasing strain on the budget, it is this kind of equipment that fund raising now needs to pay for.
"A huge thank you to all our families that came to support their children - it was a superb afternoon."
