BALLOONS were set off into the sky on Saturday afternoon in memory of a grandmother-of-three at the centre of a murder case.
Loved ones of Debbie Twist, who died after suffering from stab wounds at a home on Manchester Road in Leigh on Sunday, March 17, gathered at Leigh Cemetery at 1pm.
They spent around 90 minutes at the cemetery and set off around 50 balloons in tribute to Debbie.

An inquest for the 47-year-old was opened at Bolton Coroner's Court last week.
Her body has not yet been released as the murder inquiry surrounding her death continues.
Her daughter Beth, 19, said: "It was a nice event with friends and family there.
"We cannot grieve though because she is not gone yet.
"As a family we are desperate to give my Mum the send-off she deserves after dying in such tragic circumstances.
"We want justice for our Mum now."

Meanwhile police enquiries are ongoing.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
A 37-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was also bailed pending further enquiries.
A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with arm injuries. He has since been released and is recovering at home.
