A GREYHOUND rescue centre celebrated the Easter period in style on Sunday.
Tyldesley-based Makants Greyhound Rescue North West held a variety of children’s activities involving crafts and an Easter egg hunt at its Mort Lane centre.
Stalls selling toys and cakes were also set up as well with plenty of dog-related items on sale.
The greyhounds did not miss out on the action either and many of them were joining in with the action at the fun day.
Two Makants puppies – 10-month-old brother and sister Beryl and Jaxon – were there on best behaviour.

Despite the cold weather there was a great turnout at the event.
More than £1,000 was raised which will spent on looking after the greyhound currently staying at the centre.
Makants was founded five years ago and has homed more than 300 former racing greyhounds in the area as well as further afield to places such as Northampton and Sheffield.
Volunteers are welcome to get involved to walk the dogs and for fundraising duties in venues the organisation takes part in events at.
