HIGH school pupils are set to showcase their art at an exhibition in Manchester next week.
Photography and graphic students at Fred Longworth High School in Tyldesley will have their work on display at the Whitworth Art Gallery on Thursday, April 25 at 4pm.
In the past term, the students have been working on a social commentary project inspired by a visit to the William Hogarth exhibition which was held at the Oxford Road gallery.
A pop-up exhibition will be set up in the main area of the gallery, which will consist of prints, projections and animations.
It will be titled Prints of Darkness: Being a teenager in a time of European turmoil.
Seven of the students' works have been selected to be printed and displayed next to the Hogarth exhibition until its completion in August.

The pupils will be joined by Twitter phenomenon @coldwar_steve, who has been described as a "modern day Hogarth".
He has also been a source of inspiration for the school and will be doing a live demonstration of how he creates his signature digital collages.
This will be in collaboration with the students.
