A DRINK driver who was found in possession of cocaine has been banned.
Mark Evans, of Lynton Street, Leigh had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was breathalysed in Wigan on April 6. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 40-year-old also possessed two snap bags of class A drug cocaine on the same day.
Evans has been disqualified from driving for four years which may be reduced by 48 weeks if he completes a course.
He must also carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim services surcharge fee of £85 and court costs of £85.
The defendant was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court yesterday, Wednesday.
