A DRINK driver has been banned for five years after being more than two times over the limit.
Lee Roberts, of Poplar Avenue, Culcheth pleaded guilty to having 72 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was breathalysed on Kenyon Lane in Lowton on April 16.
By committing the offence the 38-year-old breached a community order imposed on him for two stalking offences.
As well as being disqualified for driving for five years, he has been ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.
Roberts has also been fined £450, told to pay a victim services surcharge fee of £85 as well as court costs of £85.
He must complete a six month alcohol dependency course too.
The defendant was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
