A CAKE stall will be on display at Leigh Infirmary next week to mark Dementia Action Week.

It will be situated at the main entrance of The Avenue facility from Monday to Friday where the theme of the stall will be about feelings and what makes people feel happy.

Dementia sufferers often forget who people are and their names but not how they make them feel.

Asda, Tesco, Morrison's and Sainsbury's have donated cakes to infirmary to allow them to raise money for Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Foundation Trust's Three Wishes Charity.

There will also be "forget-me-not" gifts on offer.

Anyone interested in going will be able to go between 8am and 5pm on each of the days.
