AN award-winning author will be talking with a New York Times best-selling writer at two events on Monday to mark National Crime Writing month.

Christine Johnson, from Lowton, who writes under the name of CJ Harter, will be in conversation with Antony Johnston at Leigh Library from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Crime thriller writer David Beckler will also be at the event.

They will be talking about what attributes in a book make it a crime novel.

The audience will also be invited to ask questions and share their views on the genre.

Spectators will ne given the chance to get signed copies of their books as well. 

Earlier in the day the three writers will be at Wigan Library between 3pm to 4.30pm.

Entry is priced at £3 for each of the events.
