AN 11-year-old girl has had her hair cut at her school on Friday to help children with cancer.
Keira Headford’s mum Jackie, 48, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February and lost her hair in April after having chemotherapy.
Jackie's new appearance inspired the Tyldesley Primary School pupil to help a cause that could make use of her long locks of hair, which grows down to her waist.

The hair will be sent to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for children who are bald due to chemotherapy treatment.

An appeal has raised more than £2,000 with funds going to the trust and the Royal Bolton Hospital’s breast unit.
