POLICE made an arrest after they stopped a vehicle in Hindley and seized a golf club as a suspected offensive weapon.
The car vehicle was spotted by officers on Wigan Road, Hindley.

Officers say a suspect attempted to make off into the estate but was boxed in by police.

A suspect was arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon; and of assault and criminal damage in connection to Saturday's alleged incident.
The vehicle was also by officers.
