A DRINK driver has been banned after being more than three times over the limit.

David Park, of Balmoral Drive, Leigh admitted to drink driving on Queensway on May 20.

The 37-year-old had 110 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breathe when he was breathalysed. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

He has been disqualified for 26 months which may be reduced by 26 weeks if he completes a course.

Park must complete 100 hours of unpaid work, a rehabilitation activity course and pay an £85 victim services surcharge fee and £85 in court costs.
