A MAN who assaulted a policeman was fined on Wednesday.
Arthur Chattaway admitted assaulting the officer in Leigh on June 22.
Appearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court, the 36-year-old of Eustace Street, Bolton, was told to pay a fine of £100, court costs of £85 and a victim services surcharge fee of £35.
