It is the first shop that owner Stacey Hacking, 34, who has previously worked in office administration work, has opened.

She said: “My son Kaydon, 12, and daughter Ellese, 18, are always raving about going to dessert shops which gave me the idea.

“They have been helpful in coming up with ideas about what the best ice creams to sell are.

“There are no stores like this in the area.

“The feedback we have had so far has been fantastic.

“The school holidays are about to start and we are expecting to be busy for that."
