This year the awards will be presented at the Wirral Sports Forum Awards Event
IT'S time to nominate your sporting heroes for this year's Wirral Sports Awards.
The annual ceremony is designed to recognise the achievements of the borough's dedicated sports stars and is open to anyone who lives in Wirral.
This year the awards will be presented at the Wirral Sports Forum Awards Event on Thursday, October 10 at Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight.
All shortlisted candidates will be invited to the presentation evening to collect their awards and winners will be announced on the evening.
Residents can nominate sports stars in the following categories:
- Club of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Young Sports Person of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Special Recognition for Contribution to Sport
- School Sports Team of the Year (girls)
- School Sports Team of the Year (boys)
- School Sports Department of the Year
The closing date for nominations is Wednesday, July 31.
