A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man was taken to hospital after being punched in the face in Hartford.
Paramedics were called to the junction of School Lane and Stones Manor Lane at 3.43am on Sunday, July 21, to reports of an assault.
The victim was taken to Leighton Hospital with an injury to his face.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Initial indications from the scene suggest that the victim, a 24-year-old local man, had been punched in the face by an unknown man.
“The investigation into the incident is currently in its early stages and enquiries in relation are ongoing.”
