Jenny Powell said: “I can’t keep my eyes off the upholstery. I met Maddison a while ago and she’s helping me design a new sofa for my home.

"I like a bit of glam and I’m really into my velvet - that sofa in the showroom would be perfect because I like to have a lot of friends round mine - and the dogs too."

The showroom boasts six upholstered ceilings with huge TV feature walls, a stunning hexagon bar, perspex reception desk and neon signage in the boatload.

The brand’s celebrity customers include Love Island star Dani Dyer who has had a large bespoke Chelsea sofa and stool designed.

Her TV star dad, Danny Dyer, has also kitted out his home with help from Maddison's team.

The Only Way is Essex star Jessica Wright ordered a bespoke royalty sofa complete with duck feather seating - and a floor to ceiling bed as well.

The brand has big plans for the future with a top secret project in the works in Los Angeles for a high profile client.

Current bookings include more than 24 salon designs and the brand has had to delay future large scale projects due to such huge demand.

In the coming months, Honey I’m Home will open an academy to teach upholstery, interior design and social media management to budding students.

It aims to help school leavers from underprivileged backgrounds break into the industry.

The Honey I’m Home showroom opened to the public yesterday, Monday, by appointment only. To book an appointment email lucy@honeyimhomeuk.co.uk.
