ST Joseph’s Players’ latest production is set to be a real family affair.

Appearing among the eight-strong cast of Stepping Out at St Joseph's Hall in Leigh are mum Kay Unsworth and her daughters Jenel and Callan.

Donna Wood and her daughter Christy will be starring in the Richard Harris comedy too.

The talented tappers, most of whom make up the award-winning chorus line in St Joseph’s Players’ popular pantomime, will be bringing their fancy footwork to the stage on Wednesday, September 11.

Produced by theatre leading light, Doreen Johnson, Stepping Out tells the hilarious tale of a group of disparate individuals who attend the same weekly tap-dancing class.

Despite the students initially treating the lessons as a social occasion, and showing little co-ordination, they soon begin to develop both dance skills and friendships.

The show at the Chapel Street theatre begins its run on Wednesday, September 11 until Saturday, September 14.

Evening performances begin at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2pm.

Tickets which are priced at £10, including a programme and tea or coffee, are available to order at www.ticketsource.co.uk/st-josephs-players.
