College Principal Anna Dawe said: “The refurbishment of the centre has come at a perfect time with the numbers of adult learners increasing.

“The modern building provides a fantastic learning environment to provide further provision for adults looking to take up their own study options to fulfill a lifelong ambition, further their career prospects or to help their youngsters with homework.”

With limited places still available and many courses free of charge, residents are being encouraged to get in touch with the college.

The centre also offers free parking for students.
